Greek Yogurt with Honey & Walnuts

A simple, nourishing bowl

Some recipes don’t need much to stand out. This Greek yogurt bowl with honey and walnuts is one of those—minimal ingredients, balanced textures, and just enough sweetness to feel like a treat without overcomplicating things.

It’s the kind of dish that works any time of day. The yogurt brings a rich, creamy base with plenty of protein, the walnuts add crunch and healthy fats, and the honey ties everything together with a soft, natural sweetness.

From a visual perspective, this is exactly the kind of subject I enjoy working with in my food photography. Simple compositions like this allow texture and light to do the heavy lifting—highlighting the gloss of the honey, the rough edges of the walnuts, and the smoothness of the yogurt.

Recipe

Ingredients

200g Greek yogurt

1–2 tbsp honey

A small handful of walnuts

Instructions

Spoon the yogurt into a bowl and gently smooth the surface.

Scatter walnuts on top.

Drizzle with honey just before serving.

Notes on Styling & Approach

For this shoot, I kept everything minimal and natural—soft light, neutral tones, and no unnecessary elements. It’s a style that works especially well for brands looking for clean, honest imagery that still feels elevated.

Alongside photography, I often develop simple recipes like this to help brands showcase their products in a way that feels real, usable, and visually engaging—whether for websites, campaigns, or social content.
